Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required or actively pursuing licensure.
7 years of related experience in sediment remediation or similar field.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required by project demands.
Ability to lead technical teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide expertise evaluating sediment remediation technologies and design sediment remediation solutions for riverine, coastal, riparian, floodplain, and port settings.
Understand principles of sediment transport, environmental site assessment, sampling/monitoring, cap modeling, dredge approaches, and remedial action design.
Support statistical evaluation of environmental data sets.
Act as task manager for sediment projects, conveying technical strategy to clients and coordinating with subject matter experts.
Liaise with clients, the public, and outside consultants; present complex assessments to non-experts.
Lead staff in preparing and reviewing technical documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and technical soundness.
