Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer to lead and contribute on challenging sediment remediation projects for federal and public sector clients. The role requires independent work and team leadership, with emphasis on design, regulatory understanding, and client communication.

Ideal candidates will have a PE license, 7+ years of related experience, and the ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering is required.
• PE license is required.
• 7 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate feasibility of sediment remediation technologies and design remediation solutions for riverine, coastal, riparian/floodplain, or port settings.
• Lead projects and coordinate engineers and scientists on sediment sites with multiple stakeholders.
• Support mathematical/statistical evaluations of environmental data sets.
