Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a mid- to senior-level Sediment Remediation Engineer to lead projects for sediment remediation in diverse settings. The role requires independent work and team leadership on projects for Federal or Public sector clients, with expertise in remediation design, site assessment, and regulatory processes.

Candidates should have PE licensure, a civil/environmental/chemical engineering background, and about 7 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
• PE license is required.
• 7 years of related experience expected.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead sediment remediation design and evaluation for various sites.
• Assess feasibility of remediation technologies for riverine, coastal, riparian, and port settings.
• Provide technical strategy and client communications; coordinate with team.
• Support data analysis, sampling and modeling of sediment transport and contamination.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (CERCLA, GLLA) and provide technical leadership.
