Job summary

Transamerica in New York City is seeking a security and hospitality professional to serve as the primary presence for employees, executives, clients, and guests at the New York headquarters. The role blends corporate security expertise with discretion, organization, and high-quality guest service to support daily office operations.

The position emphasizes access control, visitor management, and coordination with security teams, while ensuring a welcoming and secure environment for all attendees

Qualifications

• Customer service skills with security awareness and good judgment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage changing schedules and visitor needs with calm professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary security and workplace presence for NY headquarters.
• Monitor access, visitor management, badging, escort, and access-control procedures.
• Identify, document, and escalate security concerns and incidents.
• Coordinate with Corporate Security, Security Command Center, and responders during incidents.
• Manage visitor registration, arrivals/departures, host notifications, and reception operations.
• Support workplace safety initiatives, including emergency preparedness and drills.
• Assist employees during emergencies and support evacuation and continuity procedures.
• Provide logistical and front-of-house support for meetings and high-profile events.
• Coordinate executive protection activities and safeguard confidential schedules and visitors.
• Serve as onsite liaison for workplace and facility issues and vendor access.
