Job summary

Security Industry Specialists in New York City is seeking a Fusion Security Specialist to create a world-class experience while ensuring a safe and secure environment for clients and customers.

The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of site rules and procedures, and the ability to address safety issues. Primary reporting to the Site Manager with opportunities for growth in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of military or law enforcement experience OR
• Associate’s degree or higher in criminal justice or business management OR
• Minimum of 3 years in physical security with 2+ years in a supervisory role

Responsibilities

• Monitor overall activity on the site to ensure a safe and secure environment
• Initiate investigations of security-related incidents
• Operate in a professional, business-centered environment where customer service, confidentiality, and integrity are held to a high standard
• Assist EMS or other officials during emergencies
• Professional experience in the areas of people and conflict management with tact and discretion, and the ability to function in stressful situations
• Must hold and maintain applicable state guard certifications and licenses
