Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Security Technician to troubleshoot and service intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems from multiple manufacturers. You will inspect equipment, produce written reports, and deliver timely solutions to keep facilities secure and efficient.

The role requires 5 years in low-voltage or security, knowledge of major platforms (Bosch/Radionics, Honeywell, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP, DSC), and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5 years in low-voltage or security industry.
• Knowledge of major security platforms (Bosch/Radionics, Honeywell, Firelite, Silent Knight, DMP, DSC).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background and identity checks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot intrusion, IP CCTV, access control, and fire alarm systems.
• Inspect systems for proper functionality and provide written or digital reports.
• Provide solutions and recommendations at the time of service.
• Readjust, repair, or replace inoperative equipment and test operation.
• Coordinate inspections with authorities as needed.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and ensure facilities run efficiently.
