Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and Card Access. You will work with customers to diagnose issues and provide on-site or remote support to restore building operations.

You will coordinate inspections, prepare trouble orders, and quote upgrades or repairs. A valid driver's license and electrical background are required; experience with Tyco Integrated Security or comparable

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• Mass or Maine Electrical license.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service commercial security, fire alarm, CCTV, and Card Access systems.Coordinate inspections and installations with police, fire departments, or other appropriate agencies.
• Provide solutions and recommendations to ensure the facility runs efficiently, including upselling opportunities and providing quotes.
