Job summary

Kastle Systems is seeking a Service Technician III to lead service activities for the Mid-Atlantic market. You will test, troubleshoot, and repair access control and video systems at customer sites, coordinating with IT staff, contractors, and Kastle personnel.

Qualified candidates bring extensive alarm/security experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to train others. Expect field work and potential overtime to support critical security deployments.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of experience in alarm, access control, CCTV, and networking.
• Knowledge of building codes pertaining to construction, fire, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Desired certifications: CCNA or A+.
• Desired: Axis, Genetec, or Milestone certifications.
• Competent with Windows PCs/servers and basic programming."
• Advanced electronics and electrical knowledge; strong diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, services, installs, tests basic access control and video systems.
• Diagnoses CCTV problems and identifies faulty components.
• Programs DVRs/NVRs per client needs and ensures timely service per Kastle procedures.
• Provides regular progress updates to stakeholders and communicates with customers and contractors.
• Manages service tickets, logs hours/parts, and updates billing status.
• Documents completed work and coordinates with Technical Support to resolve discrepancies.
• Trains customers on operation of equipment.
