Job summary

Kastle Systems in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Service Technician II to test, troubleshoot, and repair security systems at customer sites, including access control and video / CCTV. You will interact directly with clients, contractors, and Kastle personnel to ensure timely, high-quality service and repair solutions.

Responsibilities cover service and resolution, ticket administration, and inventory, with local travel to DC Metro worksites.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in Avigilon Video Security & Access Control
• Advanced electrical knowledge
• Mid-level to advanced networking knowledge with certifications
• Strong diagnostic skills for complex services
• Experience interfacing with IT personnel on IP addressing issues

Responsibilities

• Maintains, services, installs, tests basic access control and video/CCTV systems
• Diagnoses CCTV system problems and determines faulty components
• Programs digital video recorders and network video recorders
• Ensures services are performed on time per Kastle procedures
• Provides regular progress updates to stakeholders
• Communicates with customers, contractors, and Kastle staff to service and test equipment
• Interfaces with customers to ensure confidence in Kastle System
• Maintains documentation and resolves discrepancies with manager
• Maintains company vehicles, tools, equipment, and individual tool issue
• Local travel to worksites in the DC Metro area
