Job summary

Kastle Systems is seeking a Service Technician II to test, troubleshoot and repair access control and video systems at customer sites in the DC area. You will interact with clients, other contractors, and Kastle personnel to ensure high-quality service and timely completion of work.

You should have advanced electronics and networking knowledge, Avigilon certification, and the ability to diagnose complex issues.

Qualifications

• Advanced electronics knowledge.
• Avigilon Video Security & Access Control certification or equivalent.
• Networking knowledge with certifications.
• Ability to diagnose complex security system issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, services, installs, tests basic access control and CCTV systems.
• Diagnoses CCTV system problems and determines faulty components.
• Programs DVRs and NVRs according to client needs.
• Ensures work is completed accurately and on time per Kastle procedures.
• Provides regular progress updates to stakeholders.
• Interfaces with customers, contractors and Kastle staff to service, install and test equipment.
• Local travel to worksites in the DC Metro area.
• Maintains company-owned vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory.
