Qualifications

• Ten+ years of experience in alarm, access control, CCTV, and networking.
• Knowledge of building codes for construction, fire, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams.
• Desirable: CCNA or A+ certification; Axis, Genetec, Milestone certs.
• Competent with Windows PCs/servers and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, install, and test access control and CCTV systems.
• Diagnose CCTV problems and identify faulty components.
• Program DVR/NVR per client needs.
• Provide regular progress updates and customer communication.
• Mentor team members and train others.
• Manage service tickets, log hours, and document work.
