Job summary

Kastle Systems International, LLC is seeking a Service Technician II to test, troubleshoot and repair access control and CCTV/security systems at customer sites in the DC Metro area. You will interact with clients, contractors and Kastle staff to ensure timely, quality service and accurate documentation.

The role requires testing and servicing CCTV, IP networking, and access control components, plus remote troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Advanced electronics knowledge and electrical understanding.
• Networking knowledge with certifications; IP networking experience.
• Experience with access control and CCTV/video systems.
• Ability to diagnose complex service issues on-site.
• Strong communication with customers and teams.
• Willing to work overtime, weeknights and weekends as needed.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair security systems including access control and CCTV.
• Diagnose problems and repair components; program NVRs/DVRs as needed.
• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders and customers.
• Interface with customers, contractors and Kastle staff to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain vehicles and tools; travel within DC Metro area for sites.
• Log hours, manage parts, and update work orders in dispatch system.
• Ensure accurate documentation and resolve discrepancies with supervision.
• Inventory control for vehicles and equipment; support year-end counts.
• Oversee and perform service, tests, and installations per Kastle procedures.
