Job summary

Montefiore Health System seeks a Project Manager for the Security Department to bridge strategic direction with day-to-day execution across CCTV, card access, panic and burglar alarm systems. The role coordinates complex projects from concept to completion within the health system.

The candidate will translate directives into actionable plans, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ten+ years of project management experience in security or IT.
• CPM/APM certification required; PMP certification preferred.
• Knowledge of CCTV, card access, and related security systems; IT protocols

Responsibilities

• Translate leadership directives into actionable plans, ensuring alignment with standards and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate across teams with mentorship and guidance; no direct supervision.
• Track budgets, commitments, expenditures, invoices, and balances; enter data into Strata and Infor; reconcile and report.
• Solicit, review, and level competitive bids from approved vendors based on scope, pricing, qualifications, schedule and Montefiore standards.
• Prepare bid comparisons and recommendations for Security leadership review and approval.
