Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems, including burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and Card Access. You will work from a remote location with tools provided, delivering practical, on-site solutions to keep customers’ facilities secure and efficient.

You will read and test equipment, coordinate inspections with fire and police when needed, prepare trouble orders, provide quotes, and upsell where appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience installing, inspecting or repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable products.
• Experience with Card Access, CCTV and IP cameras.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• HIRSCH certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair damaged equipment or wiring and test operation.
• Prepare trouble orders and coordinate inspections with fire/police departments.
• Service and repair Commercial security/Fire Alarm/CCTV/Card Access systems.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and upsell where appropriate.

HIRSCH Certificate
