CrowdStrike Intelligence is seeking a motivated security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and develop actionable intelligence. This role focuses on defensive analysis, reverse engineering, and developing automation tools to support adversary tracking with collaboration across the Intelligence team.

You will contribute to high-quality threat intelligence reporting, briefs for diverse audiences, and cross-team initiatives to mitigate known exploitation techniques across CrowdStrike's

Formación

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques seen in userspace and kernel vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of at least two OS platforms, including Windows.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Collaborative mindset and strong teamwork.
• Proficiency in reverse engineering tools and processes.
• Knowledge of programming/scripting languages, especially Python.
• Ability to use AI-assisted tools to accelerate vulnerability research and exploitation analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Develop tracking systems for cross-team adversary tracking based on exploitation behavior.
• Improve and maintain exploit detection capabilities using existing data sources.
• Identify opportunities to increase visibility of threats, especially exploits.
• Reverse engineer to understand inner workings of exploits.
• Develop tools to automate exploit analysis tasks.
• Create a classification framework for attribution based on vulnerabilities used.
• Contribute to active mitigation with technical expertise.
• Develop host-based and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting, detection, and prevention.
