Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a highly skilled security researcher to analyze in-the-wild exploits and contribute to adversary tracking. You will work with the TAC and Intelligence teams to produce finished intelligence and actionable guidance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in exploitation techniques commonly seen in userspace and kernel vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of common network service exploitation techniques.
• Solid understanding of at least two operating system platforms, including Windows.
• Familiarity with web-based exploitation vectors.
• Collaborative mindset and team player.
• Proficient in reverse engineering tools and debugging processes.
• Knowledge of Python and scripting languages.
• Ability to use AI-assisted tools to accelerate vulnerability research and exploit analysis.
• Strong technical and non-technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement tracking systems for adversary tracking across teams.
• Improve detection capabilities for exploits and malicious payloads.
• Increase visibility of threats using new data sources.
• Maintain understanding of exploit internals through reverse engineering.
• Develop tools to automate exploit analysis tasks.
• Create a classification framework for intrusion activity.
• Contribute to mitigation efforts with technical expertise.
• Develop host- and network-based signatures for large-scale hunting.
