Job summary

Verizon is seeking a highly analytical Senior Manager to join our Cyber Security team in a hybrid work model in New York. You will investigate complex operational, security, and fraud threats across wireline and wireless accounts, lead multiple work streams, and translate findings into actionable security solutions for executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience required.
• Solid understanding of wireless and wireline systems, operational workflows, and account security.
• Proven experience in fraud investigations, security, risk management, or threat operations.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, recognize patterns, and isolate system outliers.

Responsibilities

• Deep-Dive Investigation & Root Cause Analysis: Investigate operational anomalies, fraud patterns, and security threats across wireless and wireline systems.
• Account Support & Communication: Partner with Executive Relations Team to provide security support for sensitive account requests and manage high-visibility escalations.
• Data & Pattern Analysis: Review daily security events to identify suspicious behavior and analyze large data sets to spot trends and outliers.
• Project & Work Stream Management: Manage multiple complex projects and investigative streams with timely deliverables.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build relationships across internal units and partners within Cyber Security and other parts of the business.
• Process & System Adaptation: Adapt to rapid changes and explore AI integration in operations.
