Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Expert to lead E2E SLP services across business units. You will oversee investigations, data-driven security actions, and continuous improvement initiatives, while coordinating with internal customers and external vendors.

The role covers 24/7 operations with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and may require up to 50% travel. A strong background in security, analytics, and project management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent / 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years in security, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement; or 2+ years at Amazon.
• Experience using metric-based strategies and continuous improvement concepts.
• Experience with physical security systems maintenance and coordinating with security vendors.
• 2+ years in risk management, audit, data analytics, inventory control, or related fields.
• Investigative interviewing experience and related certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root-cause analysis with data-driven actions.
• Monitor systems and report outcomes for data indicating opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and report theft, fraud, or incidents.
• Use continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and efficiency.
• Act as liaison and security expert, informing leadership on issues and strategy.
• Partner with internal customers to evaluate security needs and incident planning.
• Domestic travel up to 50% as applicable.
• Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
