Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Security and Loss Prevention Expert to lead end-to-end SLP services across assigned units. You will drive incident response, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement, collaborating with leadership to align security strategies with business goals.

You will investigate policy violations, manage losses, and coordinate with external providers to ensure high-quality security services. The role requires flexibility for travel and varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
• 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis using data to define mitigating actions.
• Actively monitor and report outcome for systems and tools that generate data indicating site opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace violence.
• Utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and increase efficiency.
• Serve as liaison and security expert, keeping site leadership informed on key issues and performance.
• Identify and implement security best practices while partnering with internal customers on needs and initiatives.
• Domestic regional travel up to 50% of the time when applicable.
• Work shifts including nights, weekends and holidays; lift up to 49 pounds and traverse stairs.
