Job summary

Amazon seeks a Security and Loss Prevention Expert (SLP Expert) in East Point, GA to lead end-to-end security and loss prevention services across multiple business units. The role requires managing investigations, driving process improvements, and coordinating with external security providers to ensure high-quality services.

The position covers 24/7 operations, with shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 4+ years of relevant professional or military experience.
• 2+ years of security service, loss prevention, asset protection, investigations, or law enforcement, or 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and conduct root cause analysis with data to define mitigating actions.
• Actively monitor and report outcomes for systems and tools that generate data indicating site/region opportunities.
• Manage confidential investigations and prepare prompt reports of theft, fraud, and workplace incidents.
• Utilize continuous improvement to drive process enhancements and increase efficiency.
• Serve as liaison and security/crisis management expert informing site leadership on issues and strategies.
• Identify and implement security best practices and partner with internal customers on needs and incident planning.
• Travel up to 50% domestically when applicable.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and work across shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
