Job summary

Company Confidential is seeking an Installation and Technical Manager to lead our field installation and service operations. This hands-on leadership role requires a technically strong, safety-focused professional who can build and manage a high-performing technician team.

You will supervise technicians across active job sites, ensure projects meet codes and manufacturer specs, conduct quality audits, manage safety, and partner with Sales and Operations on timelines, labor, and feasibility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field installation teams in commercial electronic security.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, quality, and safety compliance.
• Knowledge of NEC/NFPA codes and applicable standards.
• Strong communication and coaching skills for performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, and support technicians across all active job sites.
• Review project scopes to ensure installations meet standards and code requirements.
• Conduct field quality inspections and resolve escalated technical issues.
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations on timelines, labor estimates, and feasibility.
• Enforce safety standards for fleet, tools, and vehicles.
• Manage technician performance reviews and coaching with HR.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers for training and support.
• Track job costing, labor efficiency, and report metrics to leadership.
