Job summary

4S Security in Chicago is seeking a Lead Security Installation Technician to manage installation of technology integration systems. You will skillfully run wire, furnish and install devices, and work with lead installers to manage day-to-day on-site scope to drive projects to completion.

An effective Installation Technician communicates between design, project management, lead installer, and other trades to deliver high-quality projects and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Security Technician or similar role.
• Experience with networks, control systems, intercom, or surveillance systems.

Responsibilities

• Install intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, and intercom systems per drawings and codes.
• Test and commission all systems to ensure full functionality.
• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electronic security systems with minimal downtime.
• Document daily reports, time sheets, and as-built drawings accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and fellow technicians for smooth execution.
