Job summary

Minuteman Security & Life Safety is seeking a highly skilled Support Engineer III to manage complex security incidents and guide junior engineers. You will collaborate with product teams to resolve deployment issues and perform regular security assessments across customer environments.

The ideal candidate has strong incident response experience, relevant certifications, and a passion for security best practices, with a focus on continuous improvement and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• Equivalent practical experience accepted.
• Experience in IT security, network security, or technical support with a security focus.
• Deep understanding of security tools, protocols, and incident response.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring engineers.
• Knowledge of security compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are required.
• Scripting or automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier-3 support for high-priority and complex security incidents.
• Lead investigation and resolution of critical breaches or vulnerabilities.
• Mentor and lead junior support engineers.
• Collaborate with product development to resolve design or deployment issues.
• Perform regular security audits and assessments of customer environments.
• Develop automation solutions for incident management and monitoring.
