Job summary

Minuteman Security & Life Safety is seeking a Support Engineer III to manage complex security incidents and provide strategic advice on improvements. You will lead investigations, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to resolve design or deployment issues.

The role requires a strong background in IT security, incident response, and security tooling, with relevant certifications. A base salary is offered with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in IT security, network security, or technical support with a security focus.
• Deep understanding of security tools, incident response methodologies and standards.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers.
• Knowledge of security compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Own high-priority security incidents and lead investigations.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and collaborate with product teams.
• Develop and implement security best practices and policies.
• Perform regular security audits and respond to threats quickly.
