Job summary

Minuteman Security Technologies, Inc is seeking a Support Engineer III to manage and resolve the most complex security incidents and provide strategic guidance on security improvements. You will lead incidents, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with product/engineering to address deployment and design concerns.

The role requires strong incident response expertise, familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, IT, cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience in IT security, network security, or technical support focused on security technologies.
Strong knowledge of security tools, protocols, and incident response methodologies.
Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers.
Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, HIPAA compliance.
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are required.

Responsibilities

Provide tier-3 support for high-priority and complex security incidents.
Lead investigation and resolution of critical security breaches or vulnerabilities.
Mentor and provide leadership to junior support engineers.
Work with product development and engineering teams to resolve design or deployment issues.
Perform regular security audits and assessments of customer environments.
Develop automation solutions for incident management and security monitoring.
Stay informed on emerging security threats and advise on preventative measures.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
