Job summary

Reflection is a research lab making intelligence open and accessible for everyone. We are seeking a senior MTS for Technology & Security Engineering to architect and operate a security foundation across multi-cloud research infra and GPU capacity.

You will lead end-to-end security, from device compute to cloud, IAM, and detection, partnering with engineering, infra, and research operations to protect critical assets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of deep engineering experience at high-valuation companies or defense-grade environments.
• Battle-tested technical leadership with a track record of building and operating security engineering functions at scale.
• Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, ISO 22237, ISO 22301, NIST CSF, audits, and reviews.
• Experience leading vendor risk, procurement security reviews, and legal contract negotiations.
• Experience with front-line defenses for an AI company, including physical security and data center security operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage a highly resilient corporate device fleet across Linux, macOS, Windows, and NVIDIA GPU workstations.
• Architect cloud-native security controls across multi-cloud environments with GPU clusters.
• Implement continuous, context-aware authorization using modern mesh networks and hardware-backed authentication.
• Ensure infrastructure and cloud environments are declared in code (Terraform Pulumi) and automated for compliance.
• Build telemetry pipelines and detection capabilities to protect research and training environments.
• Lead security audits, vendor risk, and contracting negotiations.
