Job summary
Reflection is a research lab building open AI foundations. The MTS for Technology & Security Engineering will architect and operate the security stack protecting multi-cloud research infrastructure and multi-million-dollar GPU training capacity, enabling research speed with rigor.
Sitting at the intersection of security engineering, infrastructure, and research operations, this role leads security engineering with executive presence and hands-on craft, partnering across teams to protect model
Qualifications
- 7+ years of deep engineering leadership at high-valuation companies or defense-grade environments.
- Hands-on security engineering with experience building scalable security programs.
- Experience supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP and enterprise security reviews.
Responsibilities
- Architect and operate the security foundation across multi-cloud infrastructure and GPU training capacity.
- Lead guardrails and security-as-code practices using Terraform/Pulumi and CI/CD validations.
- Partner with research, infra, legal, and physical security to scale controls and governance.
- Define and communicate security posture to auditors, customers, and vendors.
