Job summary

Amazon Leo Security Assurance seeks a Senior Security Compliance Specialist to lead government framework mapping and authorization package preparation for its satellite security program. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or a related discipline
• Knowledge of AWS or cloud technologies
• 7+ years of information security and compliance experience
• US government security clearance of top secret or above

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply NIST SP 800-53, ICD, CNSSI and other government requirements to products and services across authorization boundaries
• Own end-to-end security control mapping, define control intent, evidence expectations, and gaps; drive resolution
• Author and validate security control narratives and compliance documentation for government packages (SSPs, SCTMs)
• Define evidence requirements across the environment and build sustainable evidence pipelines
• Lead assessment readiness activities and engage with assessors as the primary compliance point of contact
• Author POA&Ms for findings, set remediation timelines, track closures and escalate at-risk items
• Communicate assessment results, compliance posture, risks, and improvement areas to stakeholders and leadership
• Own response lifecycle for government security inquiries and customer compliance requests
• Develop deep technical understanding of the control environment and translate into clear compliance narratives
• Operate a quality rhythm to manage multiple stakeholders, timelines, and domains
