Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Redmond, WA is seeking a security-focused engineer to lead the Leo project’s end-to-end security efforts. You will define and implement the detection pipeline, advocate for new testing tools, and collaborate with builder teams to identify vulnerabilities and reduce long-term risk.

You will mentor engineers, assist Red Teams, and help shape security decisions across product development while maintaining a strong security culture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or IT security experience.
• 3+ years of programming in an OO language (Python, Java, C++, etc.).
• 3+ years of troubleshooting systems issues and log analysis.
• Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop and implement Leo's detection pipeline.
• Advocate for new testing tools and detection mechanisms.
• Collaborate with builder teams to assess risk and technical debt.
• Mentor teams to instill secure engineering practices.
• Assist Red Teams in prioritizing security testing engagements.
