Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and govern security across the enterprise. You will lead strategy development, risk assessments, and security controls for both on‑prem and cloud environments, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust incident response.

You will collaborate with senior leaders to define risk appetite, coordinate with legal/compliance teams, and mentor security engineers while advancing OD’s security posture across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership/architect experience.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS).

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, and data security.
• Architect and implement security controls for on‑prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain a governance framework for security practices.
• Lead incident response and vulnerability management efforts.
