Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security architecture across the enterprise. You will lead strategy, govern controls, and collaborate with leadership to protect information systems and data.

Responsibilities include securing cloud and on‑prem environments, managing risk, and guiding incident response, with a focus on regulatory compliance and secure development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity/IT/CS required.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks and enterprise security.
• Experience with regulatory requirements in logistics/transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments across cloud and on‑premises.
• Oversee vulnerability management and incident response processes.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on risk, strategy and governance.
• Ensure compliance with NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI‑DSS, HIPAA where applicable.
