Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking an experienced accounting leader to own and advance the company’s SEC reporting and accounting governance.

The role oversees the SEC filings, external audits, and internal controls, while mentoring the SEC team and coordinating with senior management on financial disclosures. The ideal candidate has strong US GAAP expertise, IFRS familiarity, and a track record of leading financial reporting in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting/Finance required; CPA active license mandatory.
• 8–10 years in public accounting or equivalent with at least 2 years in team management.
• Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience preparing quarterly/annual SEC filings.
• Familiarity with financial systems (Hyperion, HFM, SAP) and IFRS knowledge.
• United States citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze the Company’s quarterly and annual SEC filings on Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-Ks; respond to SEC inquiries.
• Coordinate and oversee external audits; communicate with external auditors to align on disclosures.
• Supervise, mentor and train the SEC team; plan, organize and direct activities.
• Assist in internal management reporting related to quarterly filings.
• Lead preparation of financial material for Audit Committee and Senior Management.
• Participate as a member of Disclosure Committee.
• Provide accounting guidance to Senior Management on regulatory/policy changes; monitor external trends.
• Review new contracts for revenue recognition; review/update internal controls including SOX.
• Establish and update accounting policies as necessary.
