Job summary

SPX Technologies seeks a Manager, SEC Reporting to lead the company’s SEC filings, earnings process, and related disclosures. This role coordinates quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes while partnering with Corporate Accounting, business units, external auditors and advisors.

Ideal candidates will bring strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced public company environment, with guidance to the SEC reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA designation preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in SEC reporting or related financial reporting role.
• Experience with periodic and non-periodic SEC reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosures for SEC filings.
• Prepare, review and present key quarterly/annual reporting information to senior leadership.
• Coordinate external reporting deliverables and liaise with auditors.
• Research and document technical accounting conclusions.
• Coordinate with outside advisors on pension, postretirement and other reporting matters.
• Provide coaching and day-to-day support to SEC reporting team members.
