Qualifications

• Has worked in a Key II position at a Trident location in the past year.
• A minimum of one year of experience in food processing or seafood processing.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for processing seafood.
• Basic math to weigh and measure seafood products.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow safety guidelines.
• Strong hygiene practices and knowledge of food safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production quotas while maintaining quality.
• Effective communication and teamwork to support production goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead in performing essential functions of two or more production lines.
• May assist with on-the-line training of new hire processors.
• Clean, sort, and prepare various types of seafood for processing following procedures.
• Remove shells, scales, bones, and other unwanted parts from seafood.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and tools.
• Follow proper handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals in a fast-paced setting.
• Report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns promptly.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and safety training.
