Job summary

Trident Seafoods is seeking a Production Seafood Processor to support two or more production lines in Alaska. You will assist the line lead, help train new hires, and prepare seafood for processing according to established safety guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness, follow handling procedures, and work with teammates to meet production goals while upholding food safety and quality standards. Prior seafood processing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in food or seafood processing.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Basic math skills to weigh and measure seafood.
• Strong hygiene practices and knowledge of food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead in performing essential functions on two or more production lines.
• May assist with on-the-line training of new hires.
• Clean, sort, and prepare seafood following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Remove shells, scales, bones, and other parts from seafood.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment and storage areas.
• Follow proper handling and storage procedures to prevent contamination.
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisor.
