Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Software Developer in Test (SDET). This 100% remote, U.S.-based role sits under the Veterans Affairs (VA) department and requires U.S. citizenship and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance.

The position is full-time with a compensation range between $85,389 and $116,975. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply. Ideal candidates bring strong programming skills (C#, .Net, Java, Python) and experience across manual and automated testing, SDLC, and Agile

• Must have strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python.
• Proven track record on complex software projects with high-quality deliverables.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and SDLC concepts.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and procedures to ensure information systems meet standards.
• Develop test plans, schedules, and approaches.
• Write test cases, scripts, and data sets for test scenarios.
• Document and communicate test results and defect trends.
• Perform verification activities and contribute to issue resolution.
• Create daily test metrics and reporting.
