Job summary

SHI International Corp. in the United States is seeking a Sr. Solutions Consultant - SDDC to help customers implement data center infrastructure automation as they move to private clouds. This remote, full-time role focuses on low-level design, deployment, and integration with existing environments.

You will lead technical work on VMware Cloud Foundation, Aria Automation, Private AI Foundation, and IaC tools, while mentoring other consultants and engaging in pre- and post-sale engagements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in working projects to completion, ensuring goals are met and stakeholders are satisfied.
• Ability to build and maintain robust systems leveraging infrastructure effectively.
• Ability to write, debug, and maintain code to automate tasks and develop software solutions.
• Ability to understand and manage various infrastructure components and use orchestration tools.
• Extensive experience on large scale IT projects related to deployment and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Performs low-level design and implementation work including architecture analysis and design, system migration, and systems engineering.
• Design and implement VMware VCF, Aria Automation, Private AI Foundation, and related technologies.
• Lead automation and IaC efforts using Ansible, Terraform, or SaltStack.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, PowerCLI, and JavaScript.
• Serve as technical lead and mentor for consultants and engineers on projects and workshops.
• Participate in pre-sales conversations, design, and planning of services engagements.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and provide guidance on adoption of offerings.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
