Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Architect - SDDC to assist customers in post-sales data center automation initiatives, focusing on VMware VCF deployments and private cloud integration. The role includes hands-on design, migration services, and mentoring of other consultants.

This remote position offers the flexibility of a home office setup and requires leadership in both pre-sales and post-sales capacity to drive successful outcomes for client engagements.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead and oversee complex IT projects to completion.
• Experience with VMware VCF, Aria Automation, NSX, vSAN and storage solutions.
• Proficiency in automation and IaC tools such as SaltStack, Terraform or Ansible.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills for cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement VMware VCF across Brownfield and Greenfield deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects and consultants.
• Collaborate with sales and presales to scope and deliver professional services.
• Stay current with industry trends to inform offerings.
