Job summary

SHI International Corp. seeks a Solutions Architect - SDDC to lead post-sales data center automation initiatives, including VMware VCF deployment, automation with Terraform/Ansible, and storage/networking integration.

You will mentor consultants, collaborate with sales teams, and ensure successful project outcomes across private cloud environments. The role emphasizes design expertise, hands-on deployment, and staying ahead of industry trends to support SHI’s customers globally.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in solutions architecture or infrastructure.
7+ years of experience with VMware and related enterprise environments.
8-10+ years of technical experience with increasing responsibility.
Willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

Perform low-level design and implementation work including architecture analysis and design, system migration, and systems engineering.
Design and implement VMware VCF components (9.x), Aria Automation, and VCF Operations.
Lead and mentor other consultants; act as technical lead on projects and workshops.
Collaborate with sales/presales to identify and scope professional services opportunities.
Stay current on industry trends and provide guidance for pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
