Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Principal Scrum Master to join a program building a new ground-based Space Domain Awareness radar system.

You will support SW design, development, and integration within the Compute IPT, guiding Agile practices across multiple scrum teams. The ideal candidate has a strong Agile foundation, experience as a SW Scrum Master, and familiarity with the SW development lifecycle and Systems Engineering principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years professional experience or Master’s with 6+ years or PhD with 4+ years.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application.
• At least 3 years experience as a SW Scrum Master.
• Experience as SW developer, SW integrator, or SW tester.
• Experience with the entire SW development lifecycle.
• Familiar with Systems Engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IPT leadership and SW product owners to plan and manage SW design, development, and integration.
• Remove impediments and foster high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow, and relentless improvement.
• Manage and maintain Jira boards.
• Lead routine team standup meetings.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute planning events.
• Prepare and track performance metrics.
• Educate the team in Agile processes.
• Support development of SW roadmaps.
• Assist with risk management, schedule, cost, and Earned Value Management.
