Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration in Colorado Springs seeks a versatile Principal Software Development Analyst – SW Scrum Master Planner. The role blends servant leadership with hands-on Java development, CI/CD, and automation tooling to support the C2BMC Planner subsystem.

Based on-site, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies, guide PI planning, and ensure sprint goals are met while delivering mission-critical software for national defense.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of experience; or a Master's with 3 years; or 9 years alternative.
• Current active in-scope Government-issued Secret security clearance required to start.
• Experience as software engineer or similar in software development teams.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE; C++ is a plus.
• Knowledge of coding standards, automated testing, automated build pipelines, and configuration management.
• Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence supporting Agile teams.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sprint and PI goals on time.
• Maintain high team engagement and resolve obstacles.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain Java applications and CI/CD pipelines within Planner subsystem.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and cross-team dependencies.
