Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector seeks a Systems Engineer – Level 4 to join our team in Morrisville, NC. You will define requirements, drive product backlog, and guide software and systems engineers in a dynamic Agile environment.

Expect close collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver mission-focused ground segment capabilities. Strong MBSE usage, CAMEO/ SysML proficiency, and experience with space-vehicle domains are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in STEM with years of engineering experience as specified.
Active TS/SCI clearance at time of application and maintained thereafter.
MBSE experience with diagrams using MBSE tooling.
Experience with Space-vehicle, command-and-control, mission management, or software subsystems.
Experience with Systems Engineering processes and artifacts (use cases, interfaces, class diagrams, sequence diagrams, REST/HTTP/RESP).
Experience with Agile programs and methodology.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute features for satellite ground systems in an Agile setup.
Read and translate customer needs into digital artifacts for software implementation.
Lead verification planning and test requirements development.
Oversee architecture, interfaces, and design, including verification and testing.
Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews; align with product vision.
