Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Sr. Principal Scrum Master to lead Agile operations for a ground-based SDA radar program. You will coordinate SW design, development, and integration with the IPT, steering multiple teams toward on-time delivery using Scrum practices.

The ideal candidate has strong Agile knowledge, experience coordinating a SW lifecycle, and familiarity with SAFe. This on-site role may involve travel and requires a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of professional experience or higher degrees with fewer years
• Requires active U.S. Government Secret security clearance
• At least 3 years experience acting as a SW scrum master
• Experience as SW developer/integrator/tester
• Extensive experience with Atlassian tool set (JIRA, Confluence)
• Experience with the full SW development life cycle
• Familiar with Systems Engineering principles

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IPT leadership and SW product owners to plan and manage SW design, development, and integration
• Remove impediments and foster high-performing team dynamics
• Manage and maintain Jira boards
• Lead routine team standup meetings
• Plan, coordinate, and execute planning events
• Prepare and track performance metrics
• Guide the team in Agile processes
• Develop SW roadmaps
• Support risk management and Earned Value Management
