Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Scrum Master to support the GSM-O II contract at DISA, with on-site work at Fort Meade, Scott AFB, or Hill AFB. A Secret clearance is required at start.

The role focuses on facilitating SAFe teams, enforcing Scrum, and guiding teams toward agile maturity. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Release Train Engineer, Product Owners, and multiple teams to deliver features and milestones in a fast-paced defense environment.

Qualifications

• Requires US Citizenship.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Bachelor's or master's degree with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate self-organizing teams to meet PI commitments.
• Protect team from scope creep during PI execution.
• Remove impediments and coordinate with Release Train Engineer.
• Help team members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate.
• Support and enforce Scrum process and Definition of Done.
• Coordinate with other teams on the Agile Release Train and report status to management.
• Work with Product Owners to review and prioritize features.
• Lead SAFe ceremonies including backlog grooming and PI planning.
• Develop User Stories to meet feature acceptance criteria.
• Maintain and share team metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach teams on agile and scrum principles and foster a learning environment.
• Promote teamwork to achieve sprint goals and agile maturity.
• Mentor junior Scrum Masters across projects.
