Job summary

RTX Raytheon is seeking a Software Scrum Master to lead an Agile Release Train for AN/TPY-2 radar software. You will coach teams, manage backlogs, and remove impediments while aligning with Product Owners on cost, schedule, and technical performance.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps practices, real-time radar development, and collaboration with stakeholders across DoD programs. On-site U.S.-based position with robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years’ prior relevant experience.
• Experience with Agile Scrum, SAFe and DevSecOps.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.
• Experience leading teams on complex, large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Coach the Agile Development Team in Agile best practices.
• Lead welfare and performance focus for the team.
• Ensure adherence to Agile principles, processes, and practices.
• Escalate impediments and foster a high-performing environment.
• Coordinate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives and standups.
• Verify backlog readiness for planning and execution.
• Collaborate with Product Owner on cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Design, develop, integrate, deploy and sustain radar software features.
