Raytheon seeks a Software Integration and Test Engineer for the AN/TPY-2 radar program in Woburn, MA. This onsite role requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD clearance. You will join the Missile Defense Sensors software team to install, test, and integrate radar software in Linux environments, collaborating with cross‑functional groups.

The position emphasizes Agile/Scrum and DevSecOps practices, with travel up to 25% and a comprehensive benefits package within RTX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required.
• Experience with software development and debugging in C++ and Python.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, integration, and configuration of radar builds and software updates onto the AN/TPY-2 system.
• Troubleshoot complex software and system issues in Linux with cross-functional teams.
• Execute test plans to validate new software builds against requirements and performance.
• Analyze system performance and implement improvements to the software baseline.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, and cybersecurity teams to deliver robust radar solutions.
• Support on-site deployments, installations, and troubleshooting to maintain high availability.
• Contribute to process improvements in integration and testing methodologies.
