Job summary

Oxford Biotherapeutics seeks a Senior Scientist to join our discovery research organization. You will design and execute in vitro studies to advance T‑cell engagers from early discovery through IND, combining hands‑on experimentation with leadership, assay innovation, and data‑driven decision making.

You will develop multiparameter flow cytometry, real‑time cytotoxicity readouts, and primary T‑cell assays, building robust data packages for internal teams and external collaborators.

Qualifications

• PhD with 4–6 years of post‑PhD experience or MS with 8–12 years of industry experience.
• Hands‑on experience with T‑cell engagers and/or bispecific antibody formats.
• Strong immunology techniques including PBMC and primary human T‑cell isolation, culture, and functional assays; flow cytometry and intracellular staining.
• Ability to design, analyze, and interpret complex datasets and translate results into clear scientific conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and lead in vitro functional studies supporting target discovery and preclinical development of T‑cell engagers.
• Develop and run T‑cell functional assays to inform potency, selectivity, and safety.
• Design co‑culture assays for T‑cell mediated tumor cell killing and run primary human T‑cell assays.
• Generate data packages and communicate conclusions to project teams and external collaborators.
