Job summary
Wave Life Sciences seeks a Scientist II/Sr. Scientist I, Process Technology Services, CMC in Lexington, MA to drive synthesis, purification, TFF, lyophilization, analysis and characterization of oligonucleotides across programs.
The role supports external technology transfer, post-transfer development, and creation of robust transfer packages with cross-functional teams. Applicants should have 6+ years in oligonucleotide process development (BS), 5+ years (MS), or 4+ years (PhD), with strong
Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific discipline.
- Hands-on experience with oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, UF/DF, lyophilization and analytical characterization.
- Experience with CDMOs/CROs and external manufacturing oversight is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead or support external transfer of oligonucleotide drug substance processes to CDMOs from development through GMP execution.
- Support transfer documentation, batch records, risk assessments and comparability protocols.
- Interface with external manufacturing partners for transfer package reviews and campaign support.
