Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD with substantial lab experience in oligonucleotide science.
• General knowledge of chemical laboratory procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carries out laboratory work to develop/improve oligonucleotide processes and to assist in the solution of manufacturing process issues.
• Conducts laboratory preparations of API samples for customer use utilizing best available procedures and practices to produce requested amounts of material with acceptable quality attributes.
• Participates in PD project team activities ensuring that project requirements and timelines are met.
• Prepares appropriate sections of technical development protocols, technical development reports, and campaign summary reports to properly document laboratory experimentation and conclusions.
• Maintains and reviews laboratory documentation using standard scientific record keeping practices.
• Adheres to all company and departmental environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
• Performs and monitors assigned group responsibilities to maintain an efficient operating laboratory.
