Digital Biology is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead our partnered high-throughput protein binder screening operation in Watertown, MA. You will champion protein library methods, cloning, and standardized SOPs, while staying hands-on to optimize protocols and support end-to-end workflow from library construction through analysis and QC.

You will grow a team screening millions of proteins per month and interface directly with partners to define data goals and deliver high-quality data, reporting

Qualifications

• Requires PhD in molecular biology, protein biochemistry, or related field.
• Proven ability to write SOPs and standardize workflows.
• Hands-on expertise in DNA library construction and cloning.
• Experience with high-throughput screening assays and data QC.

Responsibilities

• Lead research associates running high-throughput screening campaigns at a scale of millions of proteins per month.
• Own the core workflow end to end: DNA library cloning, production, selection, NGS prep, analysis, and QC.
• Establish SOPs, standardized protocols, and training materials.
• Optimize protocols hands-on to improve robustness, throughput, cost, and turnaround with lab automation.
• Set QC metrics and acceptance criteria, and sign off on data.
• Collaborate with computational scientists to report progress and risks.
